comments of the week
Thank you for all the responses to this week’s question.
Well done to Emily in Year 6 for your winning response!
When’s the best time to have a birthday?
It can be nice to have your birthday in spring because of the beautiful flowers, the fresh air and the mild weather. The new life everywhere is delightful to see, especially on your birthday.
However, it might also be fun to have your birthday in summer because it is bright and sunny. You can go to parks, have fun with your friends and eat ice cream.
Having your birthday in autumn can be agreeable as there are so many vivid colours. The gentle breeze and the floating leaves are a perfect addition to a birthday party.
In my opinion, having a birthday in winter is the best because you never know when it's going to snow. Although it is very cold, you can dress up warmly and play in the snow.
